There are some BMW motorcycles that will not be re-appearing in the 2022 lineup. This includes the First Edition of the R 18 and R 18 Classic models as well as several 40th Years of GS Edition models.

The First Electric BMW® Two-Wheeled Motorcycle

It wasn’t that long ago that the design concept for the first BMW electric motorcycle debuted. The initial concept was revealed in 2020 and the model was officially unveiled in July 2021. This cutting-edge electric motorcycle will be a part of the BMW 2022 lineup and available for purchase in early 2022.

The First BMW® M Motorcycle

BMW makes a line of M cars – and decided to take that innovation and apply it to their motorcycles.

Enjoy a heart-pounding motorcycle ride thanks to the maximum speed of 189 miles per hour, the 205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm, and the 3.1 second acceleration from 0 to 62 mph.

The Next “SoulFuel®” Motorcycle

BMW collaborates with expert motorcycle customizers to create “SoulFuel®” models. For 2022, there is a new creation called “The Wal”. It offers changes from the standard R 19 model including a semi-shell fairing that improves handling at high speeds and a bucket style seat pad handmade in Japan.

Updates to BMW® Motorcycles

There are new, vivid color options for many BMW motorcycles, including Imperial Blue Metallic and Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black.

Many of the BMW motorcycles also got upgrades, ranging from better emissions values to more powerful acceleration to new light functions. All of these updates help make the riding experience even better!

There are also changes to the BMW motorcycle accessory packages. They have been streamlined to make the shopping process much easier. These packages offer many perks, from Gear Shift Assist Pro to Dynamic Engine Brake Control to M GPS LapTrigger software.
